    So I’m going to contradict everything….since you’re talking about the Chlorine-Free Sun Shock test strips, I can tell you that copper won’t hurt you, so just leave it in the pool and don’t worry about checking the strips. As long as you can see the copper actually ionizing (bubbling/misting) into the pool, just drop it in and forget about it.

    Had the Remington Solar device for 6 months and it works great! I see the color chart on the test strip bottle, but don’t know what the ideal reading should be between 0.1 and 2.0
