Cookie Policy

Effective date: October 28, 2026

1. What this covers

This Cookie Policy explains how Remington Solar, Inc. (“we,” “us”) uses cookies, pixels, local storage and similar technologies (together, “cookies”) on remingtonsolar.com and the Dealer Portal. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

2. What cookies are

Cookies are small files or code stored on or read from your device. They let a site remember your actions, keep you signed in, and measure how the site is used. Some are set by us (“first-party”) and some by other companies whose tools we use (“third-party”).

3. Types we use

  • Strictly necessary. Needed to run the site: sign-in and session cookies for the Dealer Portal and WordPress, shopping cart and checkout cookies from our online store, security and bot-protection (including Google reCAPTCHA and our firewall), and page caching. These cannot be turned off without breaking the site.
  • Preferences and features. Remember choices such as filters, forms in progress and chat state, and load embedded content such as maps, video and social feeds.
  • Analytics and marketing. Help us understand traffic and measure how dealers find our program. We do not run Google or Facebook ads aimed at homeowners on this site.

4. Third-party technologies on our site

Provider Purpose
Meta Platforms (Meta Pixel) Advertising measurement. Loaded only on our dealer program application page and its thank-you page, and only after you click Accept on the cookie banner shown there. If you accept, it sends Meta your IP address, browser and cookie identifiers, the page viewed, and a dealer-application event. Decline keeps it off.
Google (reCAPTCHA, Fonts, Maps and Places) Bot protection, fonts, address lookup and maps.
GoHighLevel / LeadConnector Forms, scheduling, chat and messaging.
ActiveCampaign Email marketing and site tracking.
Vimeo Embedded video playback.
SociableKit Social media feed display.
PayPal and our store payment tools Checkout and fraud prevention.
Accessibility tool provider Accessibility features for site visitors.

These providers may set their own cookies and receive your IP address and device information. Their use is governed by their own privacy policies. The list may change as we add or remove tools.

5. Your choices

  • Browser settings. You can block or delete cookies in your browser. Some parts of the site may stop working. Blocking third-party cookies and tracking is the most reliable way to stop the Meta Pixel and similar tools on your device.
  • Global Privacy Control. You can use a browser or extension that sends the Global Privacy Control signal or blocks trackers.
  • Meta ad settings. Manage how Meta uses your information for ads at facebook.com/adpreferences, and review Meta’s privacy policy at facebook.com/privacy/policy.
  • Ask us. Email dealers@remingtonsolar.com with the subject “Privacy Request” or call 214-257-8300 to opt out of sharing for targeted advertising or to use your other privacy rights. See Section 10 of the Privacy Policy.
  • Google Analytics and similar. Where we use them, you can opt out with the provider’s browser tools.

We may update this policy and will post the new date. Questions: dealers@remingtonsolar.com, 214-257-8300, Remington Solar, Inc., 2321 Executive Dr, Garland, Texas 75041.
