The 20-Watt Remington Solar “Whirlybird” turbine retrofit fan is designed to pull the hot air out of your attic up to 3 times faster than the existing turbine blades and whirlybird-style fans. Automatically turns on with a powerful 20-Watt brushless DC motor which actively pulls hot air out of your attic. 1 huge advantage to this solar turbine retrofit is that it can be easily installed DIY. If you can safely access your turbine vent on your roof, then you can easily replace the turbine with the solar fan. No need for expensive roofers or electricians to install. (Less than 4-minute installation.) Comes with pre-drilled holes and 6 self-tapping screws. Also includes thermostat and humidistat that will automatically turn the fan on above 80° temperatures and 80% relative humidity to get the moisture out. Works great on sunny non-windy days. This fan is suitable for 12 in. existing vents. Make sure your exiting vent is in a sunny location (not behind a chimney or shaded area).

Our "Brushless" DC motor means "we run quiet and forever". And our warranty backs it up. Brushless is more expensive, but worth it. Compare our cost to the cost of ripping your brushed fan off the roof in 5 years and replacing it. (But some of our competitors want to charge you more for "brushed" motors? Hmmmm.)
