Here's what makes our solar attic fans the smart choice.
Our solar pool ionizers come with everything you need for a swimming season of clear, clean water. When you buy a chlorine-free Sun Shock pool purifier, you’ll get the copper/silver anode, the solar panel that powers it, a vinyl thumbscrew to hold the anode in place, a basket to protect the anode, and copper test strips. We also include a brush to clean the basket and keep the water flowing freely to the anode.
Our chlorine-free Sun Shock pool purifiers come in two sizes. Our mini-ionizer is perfect for pools under 10,000 gallons, while our full-size ionizer works for pools up to 25,000 gallons. Do you have a larger pool? Just add a second ionizer! No matter how big your pool is, you can save up to 80% on chlorine costs, use fewer harsh chemicals, enjoy softer water, and experience crystal-clean water for a more pleasant swimming pool experience.
Yes! It’s safe to use the chlorine-free Sun Shock pool purifier year-round. This is especially helpful if you live in an area that has a consistently sunny climate with high temperatures; our customers in these areas enjoy clean water throughout the year!
Maintaining a chlorine-free Sun Shock pool purifier is extremely easy. Unlike adding chlorine, there’s no complicated chemistry involved. You have two options for cleaning the anode. If you want to do it mechanically, just use the attached spring to scrape the coils. You can also use our gentle cleanser to let the purifier clean itself. Simply drop the entire Sun Shock basket/anode into a jar of Sun Shock Soak and Rinse and any buildup on the anode will dissolve away.
It is important to know that over time, the copper/silver anode will wear down. This is a natural result of how the ionizer functions, and eventually that part of the ionizer will need to be replaced. Replacing the anode is extremely easy; all you have to do is unscrew the vinyl thumb screw, thread the new anode into position, and gently screw it in for several more years of clean pool water.
